One of the BIGGEST misconceptions I hear when talking to someone who is new to CrossFit is…
“I have to get in shape before I start CrossFit”.

Of course this statement is INCORRECT.

Getting into shape is WHAT WE DO.


“It’s not their fault to have these preconceived notions that only the most elite athletes do this stuff. Just one Google search will either turn up videos of the CrossFit Games or videos of CrossFit fails, and let’s face it, 99% of us will NEVER be competing at the CrossFit Games and 100% of us don’t want to get hurt.”


But what about that middle ground… between getting hurt and being a Games competitor?


Well, that’s where the rest of us fall. We want to be more healthy, get in shape, lose some weight, feel better, fit in those jeans again.
